First week back … how was it for your family?
We have some basketball clinics, practices and games coming up soon, and the first HSA meeting of the year is on Monday. All Committee Chairs of activities going on through March or April should reach out to Nicole (secretary@demaresthsa.org) to get on the meeting agenda, and be ready to share updates on Monday night. Remember to check our calendar page – and if we’ve forgotten to include something, let us know!
In other news, our Spirit Wear Committee has some cool new stuff on tap for us – check the backpack mail soon for their flyer. Also, the students are working on a Bash the Trash program at school; ask your kids what that means and how we can all help.
Bloomfield’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service events continue, and you can donate food and baby items this Sunday, January 8th at the Brookdale ShopRite. For more information, check out their Facebook page.
Soon enough we’ll be looking for donations and volunteers for our First (in a long time) Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser, our Saturday Basketball bake sale and snack shop, and the Book Fair. Let us know if you’d like to pitch in!
