Color Run is September 28!

WHERE: DEMAREST SCHOOL

WHEN: THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 28TH AT 2PM AFTER LUNCH/RECESS

WHY: TO RAISE MONEY FOR NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT OUR SCHOOL!

Join us for a super fun event where we run and get splashed with color to raise money for our new playground! Plus, the more money you raise, the more fun prizes you can get! Our donation goal per student is $150 AND when your child receives donations, they earn GREAT REWARDS!

Step 1: Ask friends and family to donate to your cause. You can say something like this: “ I am asking for donations to raise money for new playground equipment at my elementary school. At the end of our donation drive, we will be celebrating with a run where we get blasted with color as we head to the finish
line! Can I count on you to help us get there with a donation? Any amount helps. Thank you for making this happen with us!”

Step 2: Cash, check or online donations accepted and encouraged. Online donations are accepted through Snap Raise! Online donation information can be found below:

Step 3: Fill out your donation tracking sheet with your information and list each donor and their donation amount!

Step 4: Turn in all forms and cash/checks collected by SEPTEMBER 21st. Donations will continue to be accepted up until the run but to earn prizes, forms must be turned in by the required date

*Students must turn in at least $30 by due date to receive their t-shirt. Tips for the run!

• Color is completely washable, biodegradable/environmentally safe and made with
  food grade product to make sure everyone is safe!
• Masks and goggles are highly recommended for the run.
• Students will be released to parents/guardians directly after the run. We will have a
  blowing station to help remove any left over dust but recommend bringing a towel
  and extra clothes to minimize any mess on the way home.

We need volunteers for Thursday, September 28th to help setup, organize the students and assist with break down after the Color Run has taken place. Best part is you get front row to seats to all the FUN! Time commitment is from 12:00PM – 3:30 PM. Sign ups can be found below:
